Nashville Restaurants Offering Curbside Pickup and Delivery amid COVID-19

As Nashville adjusts to a new “normal” amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which hit days after the March 3rd tornado, it’s more important than ever to shop and eat locally to support small businesses throughout Nashville. Luckily, many local restaurants have pivoted to curbside pickup and delivery services, allowing us to eat out while otherwise staying home to do our part to flatten the curve. We’ve aggregated a list of our favorite choices for a celebratory meal, family-style meals, and restaurants with grocery selections too. No matter how you’re faring in this quarantine, we’ve got you covered.

Want to Enjoy a Celebratory Meal?

As the days at home pile up, birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones may have less fanfare than some years but several restaurants and bars can still make these days special. These options provide a festive take-away meal to accent your in-home celebration..

  • Ellington’s Midway Bar & Grill - Ellington’s Executive Chef Kristin Beringson won the TV cooking competition “Chopped” several years ago, and some of her menu standouts will elevate any celebration. Try standouts like the roasted cauliflower and pork chop with braised peaches. Add a side of the Parmesan Gremolata French Fries and you’ll practically forget about the quarantine. Open for dinner from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily, with curbside pickup available plus delivery via UberEats, Doordash and GrubHub. If you opt for pickup, all bottles of wine are half-off plus six packs of beer are available.

  • Fox Bar & Cocktail Club - Beer, mixers and a curated list of 10 classic Fox Bar cocktails (hello salted blackberry bramble!) are available for curbside pickup with valid ID and a food purchase. Expect the same attention to detail in the packaging that you would in presentation at the bar. A truly flawless execution here.

  • Black Rabbit - Celebrate with signature cocktails packaged in mason jars, available for curbside pickup with food purchase and valid ID. The menu changes daily and is posted on Instagram, but expect regular favorites like Rabbit Rolls and chorizo tacos to make an occasional appearance, plus a daily family-sized comfort meal. The best thing to come out of this crisis so far? Black Rabbit’s wood-fired oven is now cranking out pizzas—an outstanding comfort meal that we need and probably don’t deserve.

  • Rolf & Daughters - Diners with decision fatigue can order a three-course menu, like kale caesar, cacio e pepe and a meatball sandwich for $38. Amp up the festivities with a mystery bottle of wine (either $35 or $70 for a splurge); they choose a bottle from the collection of natural wines to send. This all adds up to a stellar meal without expending any brain power. Available for curbside pickup, order via Toast.

Looking for a Family Meal?

Sometimes there’s more than one or two hungry mouths to feed, and we’re all about simplifying that process. These local spots are prepping batch Family Meals available to enjoy in the comfort of your home.

  • The Farm House - The Farm House’s Family Pack meal changes daily, and is posted on TFH’s Instagram and Facebook. The new take-out menu also includes meats, produce and prepared foods, like house cured bacon by the pound, baby carrots, pimento cheese and house-made pickles. Curbside pickup available Tuesday - Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. Either call (615) 522-0688, or place your order online.

  • Lockeland Table - As always, Chef Hal Holden-Bache and the team at Lockeland Table are putting community first, completely shifting the restaurant’s focus to enable take-out food for a neighborhood hit hard by the tornado just before coronavirus spread. Orders accepted by phone at (615) 228-4864, and options include a variety of soups, wood-fired pizzas, family meals, large-format sides and batch cocktails all designed for sharing. Daily menus are posted on Lockeland Table’s website, Instagram and Facebook account. Just a reminder that, like area surrounding the restaurant, Lockeland Table still does not have internet service, so please be patient on the phone lines when ordering. It will be worth the wait!

  • Arnold’s - While still serving single meat & three plate lunches, albeit in a new to-go format, Arnold’s now offers a Family Meal Deal for $54 designed to feed 4-6 people, featuring a choice of one protein and two sides. Family Meals must be ordered in advance, will be packaged in disposable containers easy for storage and re-heating, and will be available for pickup Monday - Friday between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Sides and meats are also available a la carte by the pound, or in pints and quarts. Order online for pickup and limited delivery from the Midtown and Belmont locations in Nashville. Mt. Juliet, Nolensville and Spring Hill stores also remain open.

  • Edley’s BBQ - Brisket Lasagna. $20. Enough said! How about couchwackers? [noun: a bushwacker enjoyed at home, from the comfort of your couch] Available at the 12 South and Sylvan Park locations only. Order through the Edley’s app (available for both iOS and Android) to avoid tying up the phone lines. Edley’s East still has tornado damage, but hopefully it will reopen soon.

Order through Toast for curbside pickup, or via Postmates for delivery.

  • Five Points Pizza - The 18” pies are large enough to feed 4 (although we won’t judge if you have a solo pizza party). The Charlotte Avenue location is approaching its second birthday and the original Five Points Pizza in East Nashville just re-opened for carryout at the slice window post-tornado. Bonus points for adding on a Goo Goo Cluster for dessert, or a local brew to wash it all down. 6-packs available from Jackalope Brewing Co., Black Abbey Brewing, Little Harpeth Brewing, Tennessee Brew Works and more. Delivery (for pizza and Goo Goo Clusters) also available via Postmates.

  • 5th & Taylor - 5th & Taylor mashed potatoes without having to change out of the PJs? Yes, please. Don’t forget to add on dessert and cocktails, also conveniently batched out in family sizes.

  • In Good Company - This personal chef-driven concept in East Nashville’s Shoppes on Fatherland, focused on organic, sustainable, and locally sourced ingredients, now offers 8” x 5” casserole portions that feed two for $13, ready to take and bake at home. Reserve your meal through the website, and schedule your pickup date (currently on Mondays and Wednesdays).

  • Char - Char is looking out for Green Hills residents, still serving its full menu in addition to family dinner packages built to feed four people for just $40. Your meal includes your choice of protein, two sides and cornbread, plus the ability to include both a salad and dessert for an additional $15. The full menu is available online; and to order simply call (615) 891-7181 and pull up to the valet stand at the Vertis for curbside pickup.

Need Groceries too?

With Safer at Home directives, strains on traditional in-home grocery delivery services have limited availability and supply. Many of Nashville’s restaurants are stepping in to help bridge the gap between the local makers and the hungry homebound, offering everything from pantry items to fresh produce, plus cleaning supplies and toilet paper.

  • Mitchell Delicatessen - Mitchell Deli may be known for having some of the best sandwiches in the 615, but amid this new crisis Mitchell’s is coming through for us with perhaps the best grocery selection online—anywhere. Rice, pasta, beans, eggs, fresh produce, spices, jams, baking supplies, meat and cheese! Order online for curbside pickup or delivery if you live in East Nashville.

  • Stay Golden - All-day cafe Stay Golden has shifted to enable large batch ordering on regular menu items (including coffee and cocktails!), and also has essentials like toilet paper, eggs, coffee and flour available for purchase. Order online for curbside pickup, available daily.

  • Biscuit Love - In addition to biscuits and traditional fare, Biscuit Love has opened up its pantry for curbside pickup and local delivery. Choose the “Pantry” section on the website and find items to fulfill all your baking-at-home needs—milk, half-and-half, buttermilk, flour, eggs, sugar and unsalted butter. For a savory endeavor, grab some Bear Creek breakfast sausage, Benton’s bacon or Weisenberger Mills grits.
